Is it normal to just not care at all? Males, what's your take on this?

First of all puberty for just about all boys is over by the time they are 17. Your disinterest in sex could indicate low testosterone. As far as the psychology of it you have to ask yourself: Do you feel any attraction to a beautiful woman, or even an interest? Or what about a "cute" guy? Your condition is quite unusual for your age. I suggest you make an appointment with your doctor to rule out a physical problem. If you are physically ok then it is completely emotional. You may be unconsciously repressing your feelings.
